One of the shows at WaterTower Theater’s Out of the Loop Festival in Addison will be Heaven Forbid(s)!: Comedy from Beyond, which was written, produced, directed by Marco Rodriguez and is performed by Marco and Rhianna Mack.

Today I’m joined by Marco Rodriguez of Martice Enterprises, who will appear next week at the WaterTower Theatre’s Out Of the Loop Festival where he will star in a self-penned, self-produced, multi-cultural comedy titled Heaven Forbid(s)! about a collection of likable social rejects who find themselves in purgatory. We talk about the heavy spiritual and cultural themes that are prevalent in his play and how they are presented in a hilarious, light-hearted way to get the message across more easily.
