Position: SUMMER PROGRAMS COORDINATOR

Responsibilities: Provide support to the Program Director & Program Manager. This position will provide the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in a non-profit youth organization, developing skills in program coordination, communications and fundraising.

Duties: Coordinate 60 program sites and artists during Discover Theater Summer Camps. Assist with the producing aspects of the Junior Players professional teen production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in conjunction with Shakespeare Dallas.

Qualifications: Access to a car is essential. Must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills. PC proficiency necessary. Must currently be a full-time undergraduate who will return as a full-time student in the Fall of 2008.

Hours: 10am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with some evenings and weekends during production.

Start Date: June 2, 2008
End Date: August 3 , 2008

Salary: $2,700 ($300 a week)
